TYSON GRUNGE (FEAT. WU-LU)

With the dust settled on her blissed-out comeback track 'Jumpstart', TYSON explores a new way of working on 'Grunge'. Taking its namesake from the guitar-led writing process, 'Grunge' is raw and unencumbered by super slick production. Embracing every quirk in the wiry guitar work, TYSON's heartfelt lyricism takes centre stage, doused in creative effects in all the right spots. Featuring an appropriately somber closing verse from South London musician and producer Wu-Lu, TYSON explains: “At some point we have to sign off on an unrequited love, dot the I’s & cross the T’s. Oscar Scheller (producer and co-writer) and I listened back to the lyrics and realised what we had subconsciously written about." Arriving alongside the announcement of her forthcoming CHAOS EP, set for release on innovative indie label LUCKYME on the 15th of November, TYSON promises to be vulnerable, openminded and to keep us on our toes. -Holly Mullineaux
